Our annual Summer School is the highlight of our education and outreach year!

Our week-long programme offers Year 12 students the chance to learn about the work we do at Goonhilly and teaches participants the basics of satellite communications while developing their understanding of related STEM topics.

The week features a mixture of lectures, demos, tours, and team project work. In addition to learning the basics of satellite communications, attendees usually also have the opportunity to hear from other organisations in the space sector, and to learn about our staff members’ routes into the industry, the latest developments in space exploration, and effective ways to communicate.
